On Monday, March 7, 2022, Moov Africa Foundation, as part of the 2022 edition of International Women’s Day (IWD 2022), honoured four (04) women with disabilities working in various sectors of activity. A way for the GSM company to encourage resilience in the rank of the female sex.
The GSM company Moov Africa, like many structures and organizations, has not remained indifferent to the 2022 edition of International Women’s Day (IWD). To express its solidarity with disabled people who do not make their situation a fatality, the Moov Africa Foundation honoured four (04) women with disabilities who were selected based on the successful results of their actions within the community. These change actors who do not make their hearing, visual, physical and albino disabilities a barrier, include: Carine Hounguè, President of the Albi international Association; Pascaline Ahoussougbémey, President of the Deaf Women of Benin; Lucienne Kikissagbé, basketballer, seamstress and table tennis player using a wheelchair, and Elvire Doumatey, Head of the Nursery and Primary Education, and Rehabilitation Department at Centre des aveugles de Sègbèya (Sègbèya Centre for the Blind) in Cotonou. To show their admiration and gratitude, Moov Africa Foundation awarded each of them a certificate of distinction.
