(A prayer session organized for the celebrations of the 10 years)
The daily newspaper L’économiste Du Bénin invited media professionals and their readers to a prayer session on Wednesday, 14 September 2022 as part of the celebration of its 10 years anniversary placed under divine protection. The meeting took place in the Newspaper’s premises in the presence of several personalities.
« Everything comes from God and nothing can be done without Him ». It is with this sentence that the evangelist SULE SUNDAY opened the prayer session on Wednesday in the presence of friends, supporters and journalists from various media outlets to support the Director of L’économiste Du Bénin and its collaborators. The meeting was part of the preparations for the commemoration of the Newspaper’s 10-year anniversary. Songs, dances, preaching and prayers were the highlights of the session under divine inspiration.
The session is placed under the high sponsorship of the Spirit of God who enlightens and vivifies human beings. In his preaching, the evangelist invited the Director General of the daily Newspaper L’économiste Du Bénin to continue to work for the well-being of his collaborators as he usually does. The moments of prayer were interspersed with revelations about the participants. These revelations were also taken into account by the evangelist for the manifestation of the glory of God in the lives of these people. He also invoked the help of the Spirit of God on the Director General of the daily Newspaper L’économiste du Bénin and his collaborators for the influence of their work.
Donation of food and an envelope to « Centre VIDJINGNI », a reception centre for abandoned children
As part of the celebration of 10 years, L’économiste du Bénin donated food on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 to « Centre VIDJINGNI ». The donation consisted of a bag of 100 kg of millet; a bag of 100 kg of corn; a bag of 100 kg of soya: 50,000, a kit of 10 diapers for the sick; a can of 25 liters of oil, 10 packets of sugar. The donation was accompanied by an envelope of 100,000 francs for the purchase of medicines.
It should be noted that “Centre VIDJINGNI” receives children abandoned by their parents because of the disabilities they bear and who are rejected in their social environment. The delegation that travelled to the commune of Kpomassè is composed of Mr. Jean-Claude KOUAGOU, Editor-in-Chief of L’économiste du Bénin, Mr. Antoine Djidonou, Mr. Abdoulaye TAO, Publishing Director of L’économiste du Faso. On behalf of DG Léonard Dossou, the delegation handed over the foodstuffs and manufactured products to the heads of « Centre VIDJINGNI ».
The reception was made by Sister Elisabeth SOUVI in the presence of several other nuns and residents of the Centre. So, it was a busy day for the L’économiste du Bénin. It should be noted that a walk for health was organized on Thursday, 15 September 2022, as part of the celebration of the Newspaper’s 10th anniversary. The gathering was for 7 hours at the UNAFRICA crossroads in Cotonou not far from the Centre for the Promotion of Crafts (CPA) in Cotonou.
