The ASCOM, the great African meeting of communication is announced for June 9, 2022 in Abidjan. Under the high patronage of Amadou Coulibaly, Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Government Spokesman, this 9th edition brings together the major players in communication, marketing, and events.
The ASCOMs will be celebrating their 15th anniversary on June 9th. A new era punctuated by a new momentum. The celebration is placed under the sign of dynamic reflection to dissect a journey marked by determination and outline promising prospects for the continental communication industry. Since its launch in 2007, the ASCOM has established itself in Côte d’Ivoire, and in Africa, as a reference event in the world of communication. An event whose reputation has grown over the years. The proof is the participation of Jacques Séguéla and Mercedes Erra; these two world figures in communication, as guests of honor, have made impression by delivering outstanding conferences. It is on this same momentum that the meeting is going to hold with renowned speakers for fruitful exchanges. The Agenda includes the following:
- The inaugural conference of Gilles Acogny, Founder and CEO at Acosphère on the topic entitled “Sales and Marketing at the Service of the Company’’;
- Two panels on the topics entitled “A New Era, a New Impetus: How to Build an Innovation Culture?” and “Communication, a Niche of Opportunities: What Training is Required to be Competitive on the Labor Market?’’;
- The Great Conversation with Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, President and Founder of Mazarine Group on the topic “Communication at the Service of Luxury, Art, and Culture”;
- The Great Conversation with Stéphane Fouks, Vice-President of Havas Group on the topic entitled “What communication to accelerate economic development?”
The day will also be marked by two major events including ASCOM Inside during which Companies present their successful concepts and know-how, and ASCOM Awards through which professionals, agencies, businesses, communities, and personalities with talent, innovation, resilience, and perseverance will be honoured. In addition, the success stories attending this event will reveal and share their experiences. Note that this great communication sector meeting is an initiative of Michel Russell Lohoré, a multi-card journalist who brings together economy, culture, politics, and society. This renowned Ivorian journalist is also the initiator of the African Economy Builders Awards and the African Economic and Financial Press Forum (FAPEF).
