Limiting the early mortality rate of enterprises and encouraging entrepreneurs to discover the requirements of the business world in order to face the difficulties related to entrepreneurship. These are the objectives of a training session organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin (CCI Benin) in partnership with the Centre for the Promotion and Supervision of Small and Medium Enterprises (CePEPE) for the benefit of business leaders. It was from Monday 08 to Tuesday 09 August at the CCI Benin Parakou. For two days, participants were provided with tools on several topics, including entrepreneurship, business management, marketing, the concept of corporate taxation and many others.
Indeed, according to a study carried out by the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it is noted that companies disappear after a few years of creation. And it is therefore to remedy this situation that the initiators saw fit to strengthen the capacities of business leaders on the themes that can now help them to better understand the various challenges related to entrepreneurship in order to face them.
Participants in this training, particularly entrepreneurs, are satisfied with the quality of the education received. This is what most interviewees told us. « This training organized by the CCI Benin in partnership with CePEPE was very rich. Rich because we have learned a lot (…) Personally, what struck me most was the notion of corporate taxation, « said Ayéko Dominique ASSOGBA.
While committing to put into practice the concepts acquired during this training in the future, the latter also thanked the initiators and would like other training sessions on other themes that could bring them added value.
It is also self-satisfaction on the part of the trainers who say they are satisfied with the enthusiasm observed on the part of the business leaders and the importance which they have attached to this training.
« It was a feeling of satisfaction that we noted from these participants who also wished that CePEPE, in conjunction with the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, offered them other capacity-building opportunities, » said Chanel AHODO-OUNSOU, Business Advisor at CePEPE.
The satisfaction of the request was not delayed, since another training began this Thursday, August 11, 2022, on « the development of entrepreneurship », still on the air of the CCI Benin Parakou and scheduled to last two days.
